Saf-T-Pak™ Shipping Infectious Substances and Related Materials Training Options

biohazard

Is Dangerous Goods Training Required? Yes!

There are regulations requiring everyone who packs, ships or transports diagnostic specimens to be trained regularly. Most diagnostic samples are governed by transport regulations. In order to determine if the substance is regulated, the shipper must be trained to properly classify the sample.

If the sample is regulated, additional training is required on the packaging, marking, labeling and documentation for the shipment.

Anyone who identifies, clasifies, packs, marks, labels or completes documentation forms for a shipment containing a dangerous good must be trained and certified.

Global security measures continue to intensify, so training is more critical than ever in order to protect your valuable biomaterial shipments. Proper training eliminates shipping delays, package rejection and most importantly – fines!

With Saf-T-Pak’s comprehensive training you can rest assured that all the necessary bases are covered, including IATA, ICAO, US DOT, Transport Canada, RID/ADR and Universal Postal Union regulations.
